How to Make High Heels More Comfortable

Last posts

The beauty of high heels is undeniable but the pain they can cause at times can be excruciating, despite being somewhat preventable. See below for some steps to reduce the amount of pain while you are wearing the heels.

Pick the Right Pair: It is very important that the heels you are wearing are the right size for your feet. Wearing heels that do not fit your feet will make you use muscles in your feet that are not meant to be used when walking, resulting in copious amounts of pain.

Pad the Pair: Most high heels are a little lacking when it comes to the padding in the soles of the shoes. There are many products available, not the least of which are the Dr. Scholl’s inserts, that will relieve a good deal of the pain. Simply stick the gel pads/cushions onto the soles of the shoe and you will feel the relief.

Carry a Band-Aid: Especially when you are wearing in new shoes, it is best to have at least one band-aid in your purse that you can cover a blister with. There are plenty of band-aids available that have unique patterns and designs that can even add to your fashion statement.

Take Small Steps: Long strides are the hallmark of a sexy confident woman but by taking smaller steps, less pressure is applied to your feet, which lessens the chance of pains in your feet.

Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize: Remember to moisturize your feet because after a long day, your feet could be left with dry and even cracked skin, which for the most part can be avoided. To redouble your efforts, wear socks to bed after moisturizing so that your gets the full benefit of the treatment.
